Background:

ZOOiD was engaged to develop and deliver the media outreach program to support the True Cost Economics Forum held in July 2007.  Major components of the project included positioning key note speaker Canadian Green Party Leader Frank De Jong and the concept of True Cost Economics in the Australian context, in addition to promoting the True Cost Economics Forum.

ZOOiD Role:

  1. Media outreach strategy and tactical plan development
  2. Development of media kits (including media releases and alerts, biography, backgrounders)
  3. Media Outreach to targeted mainstream and niche print and broadcast media
  4. Edited Canadian Green Party Leader Frank de Jong’s opinion editorial
  5. Liaised with high profile environmental and economic thought leaders regarding moderator and panel opportunities
  6. Prepared post forum report

Results:

  1. Secured Dr Richard Di Natale, Victorian Greens, as panel member
  2. Radio interviews secured:
